Summer 2025 Reading Lists

Before your child returns in August, we would like to suggest some ways you can help prevent a “summer slide,” and retain skills and concepts learned during this school year.

Our “ACA Summer Reading Challenge” encourages students to enjoy reading, while building fluency, vocabulary, and reading comprehension. Students going into Grades 1-5 can complete the activity and return to school on August 12 for a special prize!

IXL has been updated by your child’s teacher to include assigned tasks. Encourage your child to spend 30 minutes a day practicing math and reading skills using this valuable resource for our students going into 4th and 5th grade. RAZ Kids has hundreds of leveled eBooks that students going into Grades 1-5 can listen to, read, and record themselves reading while also assessing their comprehension. Students going into Grades 1- 3 will also have access to Age of Learning (My Math and My Reading Academy) throughout the summer.

Please note, subscriptions to IXL, RAZ Kids, and Age of Learning may become inactive if you have not yet re-enrolled for the 2025-2026 school year. Please be sure that you have re-enrolled and reserved your child’s seat as we currently have waiting lists for several grade levels. If you have questions about re-enrollment, please call the main office at (561) 686-8081. As a reminder, the office is open to serve you this summer Monday-Friday, from 8am-4:30pm. We look forward to continuing our partnership with your family in Christian education!
